Hi folks. Welcome to Accessibility Minute, your weekly look at Assisitive Technologythose clever tools and devices designed to help people who have difficulties with vision, mobility, hearing or other special needs.

Audio books have become a very popular way to get information or to enjoy recreational reading while on a road trip or even on your morning commute by train. Not only is this format very convenient, its also accessible to many people.

If you have difficulty with vision, if you have a learning disability like dyslexia or if you have trouble physically handling the pages of a book or magazine, then audio books may be for you.

Theyre easy to get from a bookstore, download them from the internet or check them out from your local library.

Check out our web site for links to some great resources for audio books.
