Hi folks. Welcome to Accessibility Minute, your weekly look at Assisitive Technologythose clever tools and devices designed to help people who have difficulties with vision, mobility, hearing or other special needs.
Do you or someone you care about have a hard time remembering things on their shopping list? Does taking notes in biology class create a challenge?
Digital recorders now allow you to record many more hours of audio than traditional cassette versions and you can even back them up to your computer.
Even better, now there is a series of smart pens that have digital recorders built right in. These ink pens are smart enough to allow you to record your notes while you write them and then later simply place the pen back on the page and have your recorded notes played out loud while you read them from the page.
