Show Notes

Hi folks. Welcome to “Accessibility Minute”, your weekly look at Assisitive Technology—those clever tools and devices designed to help people who have difficulties with vision, mobility, hearing or other special needs.

At the University of Washington, the DOIT Center helps higher education students lead more successful academic careers -- especially in the areas of Science Technology Engineering and Math.  DOIT Stands for Disabilities, Opportunities, Internetworking and Technology and includes an entire spectrum of products and services including: Mentoring programs, online discussion forums, publications, videos, books, training materials, workshops, presentations, and other resources for veterans, educators, students, and employers.
