132-05-22-15 - Coca-Cola Braille

Hey there!  Welcome to Accessibility Minute, your weekly look at Assistive Technology, those clever tools and devices designed to help people who have difficulties with vision, mobility, hearing or other special needs!

Last summer, Coca-Cola launched its "Share A Coke" Campaign, which invites fans to find their names--and names of family members, friends, coworkers, and more--on bottles and cans of Coke, Diet Coke and Coke Zero across the U.S.

In Mexico, an ad agency noticed this widely popular "Share a Coke" campaign couldn't be enjoyed by those with vision impairments.  Now, two new campaigns from Coca-Cola have launched that feature cans and bottles printed in Braille, so individuals who are blind can read them!  Check out our show notes for more information on the Coca-Cola Braille campaign!
