Accessibility Minute - Assistive Technology Tips and Tricks for Everyone

Nov 9, 2012

Show Notes

Hi folks. Welcome to “Accessibility Minute”, your weekly look at Assisitive Technology—those clever tools and devices designed to help people who have difficulties with vision, mobility, hearing or other special needs.

Special Olympics is an organization that has been in existence since the late 1960s and serves as an athletic outlet for thousands of people with disabilities. Athletes with intellectual disabilities are encouraged to join, free of charge, and benefit from the exercise, leadership and teamwork opportunities that are available.  Sports range from Skiing to Judo and Bowling to Boccee. The Special Olympics athlete's oath is "Let me win. But if I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt."
