Hey there! Welcome to Accessibility Minute, your weekly look at Assistive Technology, those clever tools and devices designed to help people who have difficulties with vision, mobility, hearing or other special needs!
A few episodes ago, I talked about PTSD Coach, which is a free app that can help track and manage PTSD symptoms. The same developer also offers T2 Mood Tracker, which is an app that “allows users to monitor their moods on six pre-loaded scales.” These scales include anxiety, stress, depression, brain injury, post-traumatic stress, and general wellbeing.
You can also build custom scales for your specific needs. Here’s how it works: “Users rate their moods by swiping a small bar to the left or to the right.” The ratings are then displayed on graphs to help users track their moods over time.
