Hi folks. Welcome to “Accessibility Minute”, your weekly look at Assisitive Technology—those clever tools and devices designed to help people who have difficulties with vision, mobility, hearing or other special needs.
Do you use Apple products? Are you interested in knowing which apps and other programs work well with voice over, zoom or other assistive technology interfaces? If so, then you should check out Apple Vis. This web site, podcast, and otherwise online resource is staffed by volunteer accessibility experts and includes an enormous amount of useful information about the accessibility of all things apple. They even congratulate and promote accessible apps while at the same time helping the accessibility community encourage developers to increase the accessibility of apps that need improvement. Visit applevis.com to check it out.
