Hi folks. Welcome to “Accessibility Minute”, your weekly look at Assisitive Technology—those clever tools and devices designed to help people who have difficulties with vision, mobility, hearing or other special needs.
We live at a time in which a number of our neighbors have served in the armed forces. Sadly, some of those individuals have service connected disabilities and may need assistance with educational, employment or other activities related to an independent and fulfilling life. The VET Success program at www.vetsuccess.gov provides a comprehensive set of resources for veterans. Among those services is the Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment Program that helps many veterans with preparing for and finding employment. To learn more about services for veterans with disabilities visit VetSuccess.Gov or check our show notes.
