Hi folks. Welcome to Accessibility Minute, your weekly look at Assisitive Technologythose clever tools and devices designed to help people who have difficulties with vision, mobility, hearing or other special needs.
Do you or someone you care about have trouble remembering when to take your medication or which medicine to take at certain times of the day?
Simple solutions range from devices that stick right to the top of your medicine bottle and count down the time until your next dose and beep when its time for more medicine.
More advanced solutions are loaded by your pharmacist once a month, dispense pills and speak to you when its time to take your medicine and even call a loved ones phone if you miss a dose.
Talk with your health care provider before making any changes to your medication routine and then check our web site for links to some clever medication management systems.
