166-01-15-16 Spatial Line Puzzle
Hey there! Welcome to Accessibility Minute, your weekly
look at Assistive Technology, those clever tools and devices
designed to help people who have difficulties with vision,
mobility, hearing or other special needs!
Looking for a resource to help improve your child's spatial
and visual memory skills? Improving these skills can benefit
many individuals, especially those with dyslexia. Visual
Learning for Life is a company offering more than
5,000 worksheets specifically designed to encourage the
development of visual perceptual skills.
In addition to their worksheets, the company also offers the
Spatial Line Puzzle, an engaging game designed by an
occupational therapist to improve spatial and visual memory
skills. To play, the child has to copy the lines of each
puzzle to the empty box by joining the same dots/blocks.
After completing 5 puzzles, the child is rewarded with
playing a short, fun bird game which also reinforces spatial
concepts.
