Hey there! Welcome to Accessibility Minute, your weekly look at Assistive Technology, those clever tools and devices designed to help people who have difficulties with vision, mobility, hearing or other special needs!
The TOKK (spelled T-O-K-K) Smart Wearable Assistant is a small
wearable and lightweight smart assistant device. It allows users to
take calls, play music, and much more - all without needing to
touch their phone.
It can be used in the field of assistive technology as a speaker
for AAC devices. Traditionally, individuals use their iPad or AAC
device as a means for speaking, but the TOKK Smart Wearable
Assistant can be worn closer to one’s mouth on their shirt so
individuals are more likely to look at the person and not the
device.
Other features of the TOKK Smart Wearable Assistant include:
Magnetically attaches to any garment
Hands-free smart speaker allows you to speak freely if your hands
are busy
Multi-function button:
Answer/hang up calls, play/pause music, activate your voice control
smart assistant
High quality sound output and active noise cancellation
iOS, Android, and Windows compatible
And more
